If you tell me the problem(s), I will ask a mate what can be done to sort it and PM you later or tomorrow if you like? I was having issues with a downloaded version, particularly with patching up, and he sorted it right out for me. I can't promise anything, but it may save you a few quid if you can hold fire for a bit.

But i need to purchase a copy to play net games i believe ?

It depends on the no disc crack you have and whether you can mount the downloaded copy on to a virtual disk drive, thus conning the pc into believing that you're copy is genuine.
