Ric Flair Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 Wouldn't they be acquaintances rather than mates then? Haha, i've just read what I said back before I saw your reply and did think something similar.
Ric Flair Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 Geoffrey Robinson has left Coventry now. Admin is imminent. I hate Coventry, but my thoughts are with them. Not nice.

Manwell Pablo Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 I just think it's funny, especially after all this crap talk of operation Premier League we are going up etc, hilarious in fact.
Matt Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 I always said I wouldn't wish Administration on any club, We have been through it, it's horrible, and everyone was on our backs wanting to see us fail, and I still don't see how in any way it helps the club on the football pitch. Yes as a business I can see how it helps but why and how does it help on the footballing side? Why do clubs deserve a 15 point deduction, although we never had the deduction we get no end of abuse thrown at us, and accused of cheating our way out the league and being called immoral. Having said all that on a whole I wouldn't wish Administration on any club, but Leeds Coventry might just make a few exception's.

It doesn't help, it's meant as a deterrent to spending outside of your means and a punishment for not being sensible financially.

So in our case it should have been Peter Taylor that received our abuse and the punishment! TBF though Leeds haven't spent outside there means and was fairly sensible financially (as far as I know) the reason for the financial trouble is a little thing called relegation. And Coventry apart from there new stadium they haven't spent outside there means (Again as far as I know)
