Geo V Posted 6 October 2007 Posted 6 October 2007 You are the exception to the rule Geo V' Like me being from upt north tha nos we have discussed this loads of times but there are Foxes everywhere. I see them all over the shop when I'm abroad and a forum like this shows how far and wide our support carries and how deep rooted the support is as despite being taken the pi$$ out of from the locals for supporting City, I still come back for more and travel 200+ miles for the privilege!!!

Loyalty like yours does you proud, I know what its like to stand alone. The nearest Foxes supporter I persnally know lives in Leicester itself. But you can't help who you follow, but you still get asked why.(that must go for lots of fans) Even though i'm born and bred in yorkshire

For me I moved to Leicester aged 13 or 14 and soon after followed them with mates home and away in some real dire times under Pleat and since then the blood runs blue and always will. Ive lost count of how many thousands of pounds Ive spent supporting the club and I amaze myself that I dont get bitter like some do when things go wrong. Im not sure whether it was because I had to watch some pi$$poor players under the likes David Pleat and realize that it will never get any worse or whether I am just optimistic by nature but one things for sure, no London cock will ever sway my passion for the club despite trying!

Following the Mighty Foxes ....How did it happen .....too long a story at this time of night I'm far too big and ugly to let anyone sway my judgment and I must admit i used to get overjoyed when I would go along to grounds like White Hart Lane and Stamford Bridge and see MONs lads take away a point or three. Lets hope we get into that position again sometime in the future.
