potter3 Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 just been on one.Anyone been round the bastard of a roundabout in Woodville? Fookme! Just had to drive through all the school traffic, with parked cars on both sides and the lollipop lady stopping cars at random, and the cocky bastards from King Ed and Castle Rock
AoWW Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 Ten to two. How the fook do you paint your nails with your hands at ten to two? That's just silly.
Floating Fox Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 Just had to drive through all the school traffic, with parked cars on both sides and the lollipop lady stopping cars at random, and the cocky bastards from King Ed and Castle Rock Yeah I had that, it's not to bad. This Roundabout was like shit hard! I took the wrong exit as well, just to impress my instructor
dandannieldanok Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 I started about 3 weeks ago and have had 3 lessons so far, it's so easy on the open road but then, uh oh, urban areas...................

JoeyB Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 When you pass your test, mirror checks, 2 hands on the wheel, and a few other thing fly out the window! or they do for me

AoWW Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 You don't, but it's the perfect place to put them whilst they are drying. Really? I find wafting 'em out the window/sunroof in a distracting manner far more entertaining . Tis a bugger if you get flies stuck to them though.

AoWW Posted 8 October 2007 Posted 8 October 2007 Aren't those venty things on the dashboard also for drying nails too? They're for drying your hair. Crank the fan and the heat up to max... drive around for awhile... job done. Sure, the screen mists up a bit... it's kinda tricky to see where you're going... but other drivers will understand your predicament and avoid you.

Guest Posted 9 October 2007 Posted 9 October 2007 My instructor always takes me to the pork pie roundabout, currently having a road works make-over! I always mess it up. As does many a person who has already passed their test.....
Smudge Posted 9 October 2007 Posted 9 October 2007 Get in car, shut door Depress clutch and footbrake at he same time Stick in first gear Start Engine Release handbrake, clutch and footbrake and hit gas at same time and your off They have seat belts and things these days and I believe hand signals are optional. I always thought the hand signal for turning left, slowing down and please pass were interesting, they kinda melded into the same movement. After that we had the semaphore trafficator. Eeee what will they think of next?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 9 October 2007 Posted 9 October 2007 My hands are always in a ten past seven position now I've passed my test. Weird.
