dog_4 Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 our formation should be 3-5-2 at home and 5-3-2 away. why do we play with 5 defenders in home games? we wonder why we never win at home? because we never go for it.

I've been saying this for sometime however we'll never get a say in what formation we play. If we did we'd be getting paid for it and be managing Leicester on saturdays.
Milky Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 If you want us to go for it at home, why not go for it away aswell? Far too much emphasis is put on this going away business.

As for Formation tomorrow, I can't see any big changes.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 I think it's a shame that Megson's ultra-defensive tactics have tainted 3-5-2 in many Leicester fans' eyes. With quicker, more attacking wing-backs (players we do possess) and an attacking midfielder in central midfield (again, a couple of players spring to mind), 3-5-2 would suit us down to the ground at the moment. We haven't got an effective target man and we haven't got any good wingers.
dog_4 Posted 26 October 2007 Author Posted 26 October 2007 on paper hume, fryatt,dj campbell and collins john would be an amaising strikeforce in this league and it would be in reality if we had quality in midfield. We currently have a defender ie chambers playing in the centre with two defensive minded midfielders in clemence and weso. Its hardly suprising that we are struggling. I also didn't really rate king when he played, very over rated to me personally. Also i really do think hume isn't hitting form at all. Always very quiet in away games and been more or less the same in home games so far this season.
dog_4 Posted 26 October 2007 Author Posted 26 October 2007 one last thing, we need a clear out in january ie newton, cort, henderson, douglas, ferreira, dziziri, dodds,de vries, neilson, hellings, kishishev, hammond, clarke, maybury and then sign fulop and john permanantly and also then try to brings in 4 or five midfielders ie steven reid and neil danns on loan. unfortunately this isn't going to happen but does need to happen.

And as for Clarke, i dont think he is still at the club, but yeah, he nearly died playing for us, cant have players like that around can we?
dog_4 Posted 26 October 2007 Author Posted 26 October 2007 Those players aren't even making the reserve team, there that bad and for clarke i think it would be unfair to put him in that position again and i didn't actually think he was that good. why didn't we do what portsmouth did? sign players like berger, taylor, proseneckski and yakubu. instead of crap.

heskey 4 england Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 were obviously doing something right away from home as our away results are the only thing keeping us in the championship beace our home form certainly isnt ! 2 wins this calander year .. NOT GOOD ENOUGH we should go more attacking but its hard due the lack of inspirational midfeilders ... january cannot come soon enough ..
