MON for England and this time let him do it the Cloughie way. The FA need to get their Old School Ties out of their butts and hang themselves with them. This should allow a manager to change the coaching staff and the structure. I grow weak of managerial talk. I must rest now.

Just because I'd find it funny if England, with all their overpaid, uncaring, uninterested "superstars" didn't qualify for a major tournament for the first time in a while in a group they were expected to piss all over? England have been shit, they don't deserve to go through and it'd be a complete joke if they did get there. Quite the opposite to Scotland, for sure. I don't want England to qualify purely for the reason that the English national team need a huge kick up the arse. They need to stop feeling so untouchable, stop being so complacent, realise they're underachievers and actually earn their salary. Not to mention realise they don't have a divine right to be at these major tournaments just because of their reputations.

Do you really think it will make an iota of difference to how the game is run in this country, the big clubs rule and to them England not qualifying is a big boost with less wear and tear on their untouchables. If they really cared they would have cut the extortionate costs of Wembley and continued to build the National School of Excellence at Burton but no there was no kudos in that, no opportunity to brown-nose to the the big corporates.
