lcfc_jme Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 Belarus shouldn't be taken lightly as they've definitely got the ability to cause a few upsets in the group. The trips of both Croatia and England to the Ukraine will be a real test of their group-topping credentials as well, as that's never going to be an easy place to go. For me, it'll probably all come down to head-to-heads between England and Croatia, as well as who does best in the trip to the Ukraine as to who tops the group.
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 We won't win in Ukraine for sure, we won't win in Croatia for sure. 2 draws are the best we can hope for and if we have a English manager in charge we shall not be going to the world cup in 2010. This group is alot tougher then most of you are thinking. Remember we haven't qualify for EURO 08 for a reason. Pff, dunno about that, I'm not one for looking at one of results but overall the Ukraine have been poor since the World Cup and were hardly great there, They only really impressed against the Saudis, they limped past Tunisa and got thrapped by Spain. The then Squezed past the Swiss on pens, who are capable but far from excellent. Italy then tonked them ok they got to the the Quarters but at the expense of Saudi Arabia Tunisa and Switzerland, the two decent sides they played beat them heavily. The away leg will be hard, as any game that far away from home is. Alot will depend on what time of year we play them. I certainly wouldn't say, we wont win there "for sure" it's a tough one. They are generally very strong at home but Italy did them and so did Lituania. Croatia away is a different story altogther but we should at least put a better fight than last time. All dependant on the manager of course and what fit players we have available for the games.
