Manwell Pablo Posted 9 December 2007 Posted 9 December 2007 Consistent I do rate Fryatt but he isn't a consistent goal scorer, Well he is yet to prove it at this level anyway. No one in our team is a consistent goal scorer. There are reasons for this, and most of them are midfield related. Look at the goals we've scored this season, we you take out the bizare and the set pieces there isn't much left, we don't create.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 9 December 2007 Posted 9 December 2007 Is Dickov are last consistent goalscorer ?

Look at the goals we've scored this season, we you take out the bizare and the set pieces there isn't much left, we don't create. I'd say they were wing-related too - and related to the amount of times we give the ball away from the back. Either way your conclusion is spot on.
FilboFox Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 Campbell... hasn't scored much and lacks confidence. Cort... can't score. Fryatt... has a few moments but doesn't really know what he's doing. Hume... tries hard, bless him, but doesn't get much. I'd like to see Ollie try Chambers and Sappleton together and see what happens... they could be deadly!
ozleicester Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 Strikers are very much confidence players, I have no doubt the Ollie's support of Cort is to engender some confidence in him, and that goes for much of what he says about the team in general, there is no point in Ollie coming out and saying we've got a bag full o shite to chose from, all we can hope is that he makes some inspired deals during January. So far, Ollie has talked the talk...but until he has his own squad, its going to be hard for him to walk the walk. Live in hope...die in despair.
