Jack Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 We are one of the biggets clubs in the League, we should have got at least 11 points from those 5. I hear Mr Warnock may be falling out with his chairman What is it with you and Warnock
WetFlannel Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 Erm, actually we are not. We used to be, we could be one day but please please don't be so delusional. we are actually a big club, but theres a difference between a big club and a decent side... we are miles off west brom, wolves, charlton etc... in terms of a decent side
Bluemoon Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 What is it with you and Warnock I'd take Warnock tomorrow and kick Holloway out the door with a big bag of money. Warnock's record is immense ...almost second to none starting with Notts C to the then Ist Div. Very few succes stories like him around. what's Holloway done in 10 years taken a team down then up. Both his management stints at Bristol R and QPR ended with both clubs in the doldrums.
Fox You Forest Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 I think any incoming manager would struggle with our squad. As far as I'm concerned at the moment, anyone could manage the team. It's what does or doesn't happen after the transfer window opens that I'm more concerned about. Spot on for my money, anything we get before then is a bonus with the shite we have. Although i do fancy a win saturday

Frenzied Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 After seeing so much shite posted at how Ollie is "doing a kelly" and "bring back Martin Allen I decided to look at the results that Ollie has since being here..(Again, should I NEED to point out to the small minded pricks on here that this team so far includes no Ollie signings and he has inherited this crap) Bristol 2-0 Win. I can guarantee that I'm not on my own thinking that this was going to be a tricky game, to go to a side in the top 6 and win 2-0 is a superb result, doesn't matter who the side are. Cardiff 0-0 Draw. For anyone at the game they will tell you that although it finished 0-0 it certainly wasn't a bore draw. We played with a Tempo we haven't seen for years, created Cardiff a lot of problems and this game was a massive improvement from the shite in the first part of the season. Southampton 1-2 Lost. A Big disappointment, especially at home. However a goal disallowed for offside and a penalty that should never have been didn't help. On the plus side Andy King scored a screamer and proved that the fight is still in the side. Burnley 1-1 Draw. Possibly the most controversial game to date. Tacticians and stattos around Leicestershire will say how shite we were and we shouldn't have played 9 defenders etc etc etc.... Did we lose? No. Did we gain a point? Yes. No it wasn't pretty but who exactly gives a ****?? Were we a pretty side to watch under Brian Little?? Were we ****!! A point is a point and with injuries and a squad that lacks a hell of a lot of confidence that's not bad on a freezing night in Burnley. Who I might add are our bogie side. WBA 1-2 Lost. Alan Hansen I'm not but even I can see that the calibre in the 2 sides on the night were at opposite ends of the spectrum. WBA are top of the table for a reason. So they lost 4-2 to Coventry, every side has an off game. the Baggies have by far the best and in depth squad in the league, we were only ever going into this game for a battle and to win whatever we could. Unfortunately a moment of sheer class from Beattie took away what would have been a superb point from us. Ipswich 1-3 Lost. A Man down against a team that has not lost at home this season is not a position I would personally like to be in. Yet another dubious penalty just to stir things up as well. I, like anyone else am frustrated and ****ed off seeing results not go our way but we are in a transition period, the players have to get use to the Manager and the Manager has to work out how to get the best from his players. Jose could have come in and would have struggled with this lot, they lack far too much confidence and in some quarters the quality to perform at this level. This is not Ian Hollways fault so cut him some slack and let him do his job. Manderic has made mistakes and he has admitted the majority of them, Ollie says that he will be taking the Transfer burden away from Milan and that he alone will be judged by them. This is how it should be, black and white as to who is responsible for what. However if we don't give him the time and we get on his back he will undoubtedly leave or get the sack. Then exactly where will we be? Excellent post - Agree with practically all of that. As for the anti-Holloway crowd, it never fails to astound me the level of stupidity of some of our fans.
Fat Ron Posted 13 December 2007 Author Posted 13 December 2007 Not very nice now is it? Don't throw your toys out of the pram just bacuase people disagree with you. What toys....What Pram.... Nice signiture by the way... Tool

Bluemoon Posted 13 December 2007 Posted 13 December 2007 No warnock is a dick Warnock is class. Look at his record compared to Ollie. Virtually every club Warnock has been to has been promoted.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 13 December 2007 Posted 13 December 2007 if everything happened in football how people wanted it to, then we would have 24 teams winning the league, no one would get relegated every team would win 3-0. In every game...Comprende? Good point MPH... on a similar theme - theoretically you could have a BRILLIANT team and still get relegated if the 23 other teams were better still. Someone has to lose, get the bad luck, be at the bottom... because we are near the bottom doesn't mean we have to stay there or that we can't improve or that we are as bad as some Doommongers are saying! It ALSO doesn't mean we don't need to do A LOT of hard work and make some changes between now and next May. But I'm still encouraged by Ollie. I have no doubts that those calling for his head were a) unhappy with his appointment to start off and/or b) the same people who called for Martin O'Neill's head after his poor start. But one thing is for certain, we are the supporters and we should get behind our team!

Err how could you have a brilliant team and get relegated, you'd have to be less brilliant than 21 other clubs, which would make you crap.
Fat Ron Posted 13 December 2007 Author Posted 13 December 2007 Warnock is class. Look at his record compared to Ollie.Virtually every club Warnock has been to has been promoted. Still a Dick.
Bluemoon Posted 13 December 2007 Posted 13 December 2007 Still a Dick. You may well be right there. Best stick to the one we've got then
Leicester-Sam Posted 13 December 2007 Posted 13 December 2007 You may well be right there. Best stick to the one we've got then  , I'm glad to have one who openly agrees with me. Warnock is not a dick, he just talks straight. Unlike Bobby Bullshit who we've got at the moment.

Unlike Bobby Bullshit who we've got at the moment. This is what Warnock said about our club..(When Leicester restructured their debt after going into administration in 2002, they gained promotion to the Premiership, at the expense of Sheffield United, who had to make do with a play-off place. After United failed to gain promotion Warnock revealed his anger at the Leicester situation. Incensed that City could have got into such a state yet continued to compete at the top of the table, with no punishment, Warnock complained to the press, claiming United should have Leicester's place in the Premiership and the club should have been relegated or booted out the League)....NEVER NEVER NEVER WOULD I WANT THIS MAN ANYWHERE NEAR LEICESTER CITY FOOTBALL CLUB.

He's never managed a big club like ours before and all this King Lear stuff was a bit unsettling. I am worried that he will spend all MM's money in a panic and get us absoloutely nowhere

Can one of the Admins do something like for example whenever someone links the words "we" "Leicester" "big club" together then it automatically changes it. Just like if I write f.u.c.k, it changes to fook. I, and many others, are crying out loud for this feature. Cheers.

Yes, but look what Ollie said about Plymouth when he was there ....professing undying love blah blah . Football managers are all the same. I'm sure Warnock never insulted our fans, just the admin thing. To be honest, I think he had half a point. Just waiting to see what happens at Cov.
Nath Posted 13 December 2007 Posted 13 December 2007 We are a big club. just not as big as the 40 teams ahead of us.

I think he was just saying what every Blades fan was thinking, luckily for us there was no such law then as there is now, but if the table were turned i think i'd of said the same as Warnock.

Is it just me that thinks it might not be a coincidence that Plymouth fans have been posting on our forum slagging Holloway off then these 2 nob jockeys turn up with less that 100 posts between them doing the same??? **** off back to the farm girls.
potter3 Posted 13 December 2007 Posted 13 December 2007 Wll if there was the 10 points deduction when we went up, guess what! We still would have had 82 points to Sheff Utd's 80.
