Yes he has become a tad desperate to get a job at the club and yes he is generally average whenever I here him on the radio but lets not forget what this man mountain did for our football club and what type of ethic and spirit that we used to have and that he used to epitomize. Legend forever.

But I certainly wouldn't want him as our manager or want to lsiten to him on the radio week in week out talking passionate bollocks, rather than correctly analysing the game intellectually............. and I certanly wouldn't trust him with my missus!!! He's still a legend as a a player though!!! IF the twats we currently had playing for them showed half as much passion, we'd be in a far better position than we are now! Mind you, if they'd showed any passion whatsoever, we would too!

As much as a legend he was as a player, I wouldnt let him anywhere near the managers hotseat at our club unless we were desperate and decided to take a huge gamble, ie if we got relegated or something . Great player but I doubt he`ll make it as a manager.

Big Time Charlies Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 He's a retired footballer people - not a bloody professional public speaker!! Footballers say stupid things on the telly and radio all the time - it has to be expected. And it certainly doesn't mean they should be publicly strung up over it. Steve Walsh is one of the best players this club has ever had. For those of you too young to remember him as a player go and ask Santa for a DVD of Leicester in the mid-late 90's - then you'll see a proper team of players on the pitch rather than the bunch of overpaid, underperforming wastes of space we've currently got pulling on a Leicester City top each week. In fact I think Ollie should make the current team sit down before our next match and watch the DVD too - hopefully it will motivate/shame them into producing a half decent performance!!!

It's what makes up the history of this club. In fact, I can't believe we are having a debate about this. Who are the 10% who voted no?
