Foxes_Trust Posted 9 March 2005 Posted 9 March 2005 We are in receipt of your communication and would advise that you appear to be misinformed. To clarify, The Football League has from the outset stated that they would not oppose the movement of the match, subject to the agreement of both clubs. Watford however do not agree - this match has been scheduled match from the start of the season - the fact that Leicester City have a match in the FA Cup more than 48 hours before is not really Watford's concern. We trust this clarification is helpful. Patricia Brown Customer Services The Football League Limited
Steven Posted 9 March 2005 Posted 9 March 2005 Somebody is telling fibs in this whole sorry saga. <_<
Scow Posted 9 March 2005 Posted 9 March 2005 To be fair, if it was the other way round, we would still probably want the game to take place...
Cobbo Posted 9 March 2005 Posted 9 March 2005 Not Watfords fault at all. We will be knackered for the game after Sunday and thus they will have more of a chance to win. The worst thing is that the FA allowed our match to be made a Sunday game when they knew we had a game on Tuesday. But then we are only Leicester, who cares?
