ronnup Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 Can't you give them some reassurance? Sprinkle some stardust on Capaldi? After all It's been a miserable 2007. Every new name here is automatically assumed to be a Christmas present....the grass is always going to be greener. What "grass" you might ask. Let's see, there was Horsfield, Jarrett, Cadamarteri, Nielsen, Cort, Kishishev, Kaebi, Ferreira, Djiziri, Hellings, Collins John... That's a whole team of players... And with so many apparent or acknowedged mistakes it's a good job our decision makers have never been left plotting the course for a spaceship. Cos instead of landing on the Moon they might well have sent it straight up Uranus. And that's even more likely if it turns out you're right. You're losing it in sucha delicious way. Think Ollie s already seeing some return from our current squad though and agree that spendings not the only necessity. Just fill the gaps. At last we have someone who can see the fooking gaps

Went back in my time machine to a couple of months ago. There we were, two points off the the relegation places- with a game in hand....and there were Palace, firmly entrenched in a relegation spot. Fast forward to the present and there we are...two points off relegation with no game in hand..............and Palace?......one point off the playoffs FFS!! Something tells me Palace did better in the management merrygoround than we did. And now we face the transfer window, with a manager fixated on previous players that left him in the first place. Capaldi is not, I repeat not very good at all. Plymouth didn't want to make him an offer of a new contract, and now Cardiff know why, and are frantic to offload the lazy git. So........... a bit of stardust??.....OK..............erm..mmmm...he's got a long throw!...........will that do?

reynard Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Capaldi set up Cardiff's second against Chasetown. Yes but apart from that he was pretty poor.
