I liked it last night quite good, never really knew much about it really, but quite liked it last night. Billie Piper  - Liked when she first became famous shame about her music though!

P.S - Chris Moyles did the Knock knock joke on Wednesday when Billie Piper was being interviewed on his show.

I don't like this one, having been so used to the old doctor who this new guy doesnt resemble him at all, theres no mystery about him, hes very straight forward, doesnt even dress like a doctor.

I didn't watch the old Doctor Whos so I have nothing to compare the new Doctor too so I like it but I know what you mean.

Most of the doctors never actually dressed like doctors anyway. If you have seen doctors who dress like them you have been to some strange hospitals.

It was ok in my opinion, it's never going to live up to people expectations though. If you are old enough to remember Doctor Who you grew up in a time with only 4 tv channels, there wasn't really anything like it on tv.

Now days kids grow up with 400 tv stations to choose from, with programmes like buffy, angel etc etc which have better effects and scarier monsters than the bbc can afford. So kids aren't going to be as glued to the tv as we use to be.

As for us, it's not going to be as good as you remember because you were a child at the time, you grew up with a certain Docotor so any new guy isn't going to live up to your favourite.

Agreed mate but what I was referring to with regards to he didn't dress as a Doctor I mean he didnt dress with any resemblance to the previous Dr Who's.

Yeah considering I know nothing about Doctor Who and i've never really took any intrest in Doctor Who, I thought i'd watch it and give a chance although I expected to think it was crap, but I was wrong pretty impressed, as I said it may seem crap to the old Doctor Who fans but I have nothing to compare it to seeing as I have never ever watched it before.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :(

Billie Piper is set to follow Christopher Eccleston by quitting Doctor Who, according to reports.

A science fiction magazine reported that the former popstar has already decided to quit the sci-fi show.

The 22-year-old, who plays the Doctor's sidekick Rose Tyler, is said to be leaving after three episodes of the second series.

Eccleston has already announced his departure following one series, and the BBC has brought in Scottish Casanova star David Tennant to replace him.

A BBC spokeswoman said plans for the second series had not been finalised.

"It has not been confirmed how many episodes she will be in," she said. "We are waiting to see the storylines and scripts."

I watched Doctor Who because it wasn't too bad and I quite enjoy watching the new series, but a major factor for me watching it was Billie :(
