I guess that's what happens when you have a combination of a Chairman with some money a shit team and a Manager that talks too much.

UrbanFox Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 David Bell is supposed to be pretty good. Saw him playing for Rushden when we played them in pre season few yrs back, he was by far the best player on the pitch!!!
MikeyT Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 David Bell is supposed to be pretty good. I'm just watching him play now in the F.A. Cup against Liverpool and he does look pretty good! The guy who plays on the opposite side to him, Currie, he doesnt look to bad either. They also have Chris Perry playing for them as well, which i didnt realise. All in all, Luton, even though they dont have any star players look really good, they are certainly giving Liverpool a run for their money even with a very strong Liverpool line up!

He might have the odd decent game, like today, but his legs have gone, that's why he's in League 1.
CKB Posted 6 January 2008 Posted 6 January 2008 QPR will have to part with £3million if they want to land Crystal Palace winger Wayne Routledge. Firstly: he's at SPURS!? Secondly: 3 million? hmmmm maybe abit to much 2 mil max and i'd be saying to Holloway get him in!

CKB Posted 7 January 2008 Posted 7 January 2008 Why? What's he done since scoring against us last season? Guess he's better than what we have? maybe i'm just desperate? infact i think that's what it is
Ultra Posted 7 January 2008 Posted 7 January 2008 There must be a reason why he's out of favour at Spurs, apart from the fact he's in competition with Aaron Lennon for a place. Until we check out what that reason might be, we should steer clear.

Actually you do have a point, he may well not be trying much and is quite content with picking up his silly wage per week and rotting in the reserves of Spurs!
barmy76uk Posted 7 January 2008 Posted 7 January 2008 Marvin Elliott would be a great signing, has a great shot on him and is very strong on the ball!
General Smuts Posted 7 January 2008 Posted 7 January 2008 Marvin Elliott would be a great signing, has a great shot on him and is very strong on the ball! And looks exactly like Marvin Williams from Yeovil
