MC Prussian Posted 17 January 2008 Posted 17 January 2008 It's pretty common for teams in Continental Europe to do test matches whilst training camps are held. There aren't that many spots to choose from when a football club is looking for some diversion down south. Mostly the usual suspects like Cyprus, Malta, Spain, Crete, aso... Those matches exist so players don't lack too much match practice and it's also a great opportunity to blend in newly-acquired team members.
