How true that is does not matter. Heres what he offered. Photoplus X2 Drawplus X2 Pageplus X2 PGplus X2 And a resgistry scanning program Plus some extra latest software. to keep even if I return the rest. All this for £95.99 Usual cost over £300. He said if I called back I would be asked the full price and this was because I was a new customer. Again believe or not. I also get 60 days money back and it includes PP. I said yes but I'm not sure if its a bargin or not. I've just bought a fridge freezer so need to cut down on spending not increase it. I've looke on the website and the photoplus alone is £80. I've also looked at a couple of reviews and it has a good write up. The fellow said with the latest reveiws Photoplus scored better than Photo shop. Anyway tell me I'm an idiot or snap my hand off and make me an offer if I decide not to keep it. Serif and Photo plus X2 Now I need a new extension lead. I am putting my microwave on top of my Fridge freezer and the lead is not long enough. Yesterday I sorted one out I use for something else. Gave it it a wipe cos it was dirty. Plugged it in this morning and blew the electric fuses. Don't ever hire me as a handyman. Apologies if this needs to go in the tech section but I wanted a quick response. If its a negative response then it can be moved.

danny. Posted 21 January 2008 Posted 21 January 2008 serif stuff is shite, I wouldn't touch it with a 12" bargepole if I were you. I used to use drawplus, pageplus etc. years ago before I started using Adobe stuff, it's really cheap and nasty software. Serif as a company are crap too, they are in your face trying to sell you crap all the time and the support is terrible. If you want all that there are legal free alternatives that are way better that serif stuff (although not as good as adobe, of course) Photoshop - http://www.getpaint.net/ or http://plasticbugs.com/?page_id=294 Illustrator - http://www.xaraxtreme.org/ or http://www.inkscape.org/ or InDesign - http://www.scribus.net/ If you have already bought it off the lying salesman I would just send it back ASAP because it really isn't worth money!!
