Fox in a Box Posted 15 March 2005 Posted 15 March 2005 Nice to see they consulted the fans on this one. Lets just hope theve learnt the lessons from the 'gold' strip. Can you rip it open at the front to show a 'S' is it a bird is it a plane?
Bert Posted 15 March 2005 Posted 15 March 2005 not got any pics then? 78562 It's being unveiled next week so that's when you'll get the first pictures of it. you can also pre-order it of the website and be able to wear it on the same day as the player's first wear it- April 30th against Leeds.
Fox in a Box Posted 15 March 2005 Author Posted 15 March 2005 Is it just me then or a club that should be consulting the fans as they are THE of there main sources of revenue. When was the last time the directors wore a shirt. Wheres the fans voice....FOXESTRUST?
Fox in a Box Posted 15 March 2005 Author Posted 15 March 2005 NO one interested in what your wearing next season then?
Ricey Posted 15 March 2005 Posted 15 March 2005 I don't like releasing and wearing a new kit before the end of the season. it seems wrong. Guess it's better commercially though
Jonesy_rules Posted 15 March 2005 Posted 15 March 2005 just got the newsletter! what's the big fuss? it;s going to be similar, i believe, but with JJB logo!
Guest Posted 15 March 2005 Posted 15 March 2005 Unveil the new kit, fair enough, but don't wear it until the new season, ffs! I bet Le Coq Sportif are well chuffed with this.

Id rather have a new top earlier rather than later
Guest Posted 15 March 2005 Posted 15 March 2005 I meant the team wearing it, not the fans. LCS were given a two year deal for the current kit, and that won't have expired by the end of this season.
Bert Posted 15 March 2005 Posted 15 March 2005 Wear both? 78649 good idea, old kit 1st half- new kit 2nd half!!!
Guest Posted 15 March 2005 Posted 15 March 2005 Wear both? 78649 good idea, old kit 1st half- new kit 2nd half!!! 78652 Or just put them both n - that'd do me if I was a player, I'm always too bloody cold!
fosseman Posted 15 March 2005 Posted 15 March 2005 I hope the new kit is green, red and white to match our new partners.
BartonFox Posted 15 March 2005 Posted 15 March 2005 Under FA and FL rules a team is permitted to wear their 'new kit' on their last home game of the season. It is fairly standard practice these days. I bet it is going to be some chavvy looking piece of ****, it has to be Mr. Mace is involved in the process.
Jonbluefox9 Posted 15 March 2005 Posted 15 March 2005 Everton are an example of a club that regularly wears a new shirt before the end of the season.
Anish Posted 15 March 2005 Posted 15 March 2005 I agree with Ricey and Lisa - we shouldn't be wearing the new kit until the new season. That's one of the hallmarks of a new season and something that I look forward to - seeing the team start afresh and with a new kit (albeit every 2 years). Wearing the new kit before the new season takes away that 'gloss'. By all means sell it early, but don't wear it until the season ends.

Wheres the fans voice....FOXESTRUST? 78568 Totally agree with you, but we have said that since the first Fans Forum of the season, with 3 kits due for changing we asked that one was designed by fans, but the club ignored it. Consultation should have at least meant presenting say 4 -6 designs & the Forum stating theit preference, the Forum members may well get a view of the new kit in advance on Thursday, but if they don't like it they won't change it now, its too late. Tim Davies wore a shirt over his shirt & under his suit jacket at a home game this season.
