isaidno Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 The first race is this Sunday in Qatar. It's the first ever night race. It should be a lot better than season now that there's a British Rider in it, James Toseland. The race starts at 8pm but the BBC are showing 2 flippin hours of live crufts instead Full re-run at midnight.

Floating Fox Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 What a fantastic race. Great ride from Toseland. Didn't think it was that good. Qatar is a probably the worst race track in the world to be fair.
Brainy Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 I didnt really watch it, saw about 5 mins of it due to it being at night. It looked awesome.
dandannieldanok Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 Didn't think it was that good. Qatar is a probably the worst race track in the world to be fair. Agreed, no disrespect to Asia or anything but the I really dislike most modern race tracks over there: Bahrain, Malaysia, Qatar.....
Floating Fox Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 What about them..Layout.. ?? Qatar is awfull. Theres only the home straight where you can overtake. The rest is just short straights and medium speed wind-y corners. F1 race would be boring as fook there.
dandannieldanok Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 What about them..Layout.. ?? In a way yes, they're just dull IMO and I like to see a race where I recognise certain corners and timeless features. Bit sad I know, but I'd much rather watch a race at San Marino or Magny-Cours to name a couple than Qatar or Bahrain. I'm sure in 10 years time they'll have their own history and I'll be converted.
isaidno Posted 28 March 2008 Author Posted 28 March 2008 Moto Gp from Jerez this Sunday, 1.pm start. It's on BBC2 & Eurosport
Basingstoke Fox Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Anyone else see Colin Edwards there? How did he stay up that was class!! Feel well bad for Toseland he would do so much better if he wasnt ill!

SOCCERROO FOX Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 I'm watching on Eurosport. I've found out it's on BBC3 and red button aswell. Casey Stoner will win the championship again this season .
isaidno Posted 30 March 2008 Author Posted 30 March 2008 The 250cc race was fantastic. 2 leaders 8 seconds in front & crashed into each other on the last lap
Basingstoke Fox Posted 31 March 2008 Posted 31 March 2008 Damn that bastard caparossi taking toseland at the end!! still on a poor bike on his first time at the track whilst ill is not bad finish in 6th! Pedrosa was a different class. and good to see lorenzo not win
isaidno Posted 31 March 2008 Author Posted 31 March 2008 The race was a bit dull. Pedrosa ran away with it
Basingstoke Fox Posted 31 March 2008 Posted 31 March 2008 The race was a bit dull. Pedrosa ran away with it Yeah but the middle part was pretty good, as in the middle positions like 5th-9th and it was good to see that stoner is human after all
