Jonbluefox9 Posted 21 March 2005 Posted 21 March 2005 There will be clubs that are much higher than us in the Championship and a few Premiership clubs interested in him. I was at the under 21 game he came on in and you could tell from that short spell how good he is /can become. Were you training today Chambo. Me and my mate walked from the train station to Belvoir Drive thinking the first team would be back doing some work to find the academy training. We'll be going on Thursday to watch the first team now.

Mark Posted 21 March 2005 Posted 21 March 2005 It would be a massive gamble. Compare him to Leon Knight, same types of player? He scored the amount of goals Leroy Lita does in League 1, but when playing in the Championship he struggles to make any impact at all, although he is playing for an awful team (but then they beat us and are on the same points as us )
Ric Flair Posted 22 March 2005 Posted 22 March 2005 I like the look of Lita, but he's a gamble. He had hardly scored any goals before this season and wasn't considered that good. He's come on leaps and bounds and chances are he'll become a quality player, but if clubs are sensible they would leave him to progress at Brizzle for another season atleast. By the way, that Brooker who plays upfront with him isn't from us. I think he came from Watford or Port Vale? The one we had is at Reading and he's crap. I would like to see Moore given a good run of games, he's got a good pedigree and could be prove to be a bargain.
Who ate all the pies? Posted 22 March 2005 Posted 22 March 2005 Lita maybe a risk, but we are going to need to take a risk on a player again soon. All these players that MA signed that should have been good with no risk didn't really work (Connelly, Dublin, Keown etc). I say bring him in, he can't do much worse than what we've got!
