Scarby Posted 21 March 2005 Posted 21 March 2005 I personally dont think its fair or right to put out a scream team as it where. All right there has been one or two dissappointments in some recentish signings but at the end of the day that is surely managements problems. I know it probley isnt the case but im sure every player that was mentioned played to the best of there abilities - such as Carey who i noticed was mentioned he put everything into the defence and times moved on and he wasnt classed good enough but fair play to him he carried on playing for years at Wrexham and only recently retired. Sorry and im sure im the only but i just dont agree to this thread.

Sturridge wasn't fat and unfit. He scored goals and looked a much better player than Akinbiyi.

Youve ruined my day. roberto mancini CLASS absolute CLASS one of the best players in the world EVER! 81706[/snapback] kalac may have been a great sub but that was sheer timing by MON, nowt to do with the player, the 2 games he played against WBA and bolton he was shocking. i said matt jones possibly isn't one of the worst players but for £3m he was totally shite, plus he was always pissed in leicester, i saw him hammered a few times. he was crap for us. stef oakes was ok under MON, although he did have muzzy, lennon and savage to help him out. did he even ever beat the front post with a corner? mancini was good in his youth but what did he do for us? **** all. he were crap too!!!!!

I dont think Stef Oakes is really one of the worst; he had some neat touches but he was a bit hit and miss I guess... As for Matt Jones he was very injury riddled so I guess that didnt help...
