Erm - Art is a subjective form of expression or aesthetics appreciation whereas Science is the systematic acquisition of knowledge or understanding of practice.

I totally miss your point.

With art being just subjective expression ,i can't see how any assessment can be made, or how even GCSEs , A levels or degrees in art can be awarded to a student without some sort of criteria to work from or how anyone can be qualified to judge the level .

The same may also be said of literature( being an art form in itself ) ; who should decide what is good or bad ?

Should everyone be awarded a degree in art ? maybe so
