Maybes Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 I think there was about 800, mate. Yeah I was thinking around that mark. Anyway they were shocking.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 I think there was about 800, mate. Yeah I was thinking around that mark. Anyway they were shocking. Yeah probably correct, I didn't take an awful lot of notice of them to be honest. Just one of those games where we patently have better players than the opposition and you just pray that a) we take a chance and b) they don't get an equaliser from somewhere. Their fans were just casual bystanders in the corner.
Webbo Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 They all fitted in a quarter of their area in the corner which would be around 700/800. To be fair they didn't have a lot to cheer about.
Floating Fox Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 I think there was about 800, mate. Yeah thats what barber said had been sold prior to the game. Didn't we take like 500 up there?
Simi Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 Yeah thats what barber said had been sold prior to the game. Didn't we take like 500 up there? I'd say about 900 to be honest.
Daggers Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 L1 are nothing without Jobber No one joined in the three-party chant of "Please take your drummer back...Please take your drummer back..."
Tommeh Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 L1 are nothing without Jobber Behave. It's great with him yes, but loosing the drum meant fook all to us. Was decent 2nd half in L1 and reasonably loud at times. But its the old cliche' of when there is very small /poor away following L1 is poor aswell. If I do get a season ticket next season (currently 50/50) it will be for the sole reason of the people in L1, the faces, the banter and the atmosphere. Also throwing that Scunny fan for kissing his badge out was appauling, totally asharmed of our stewards/club for that!

Maybes Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 Same Tommeh Yeah I only go the games for a chat aswell.

Jobber wasnt even on the drum for most of the game, I saw him just sitting nearby with someone else banging the drum. Im not sure it made any difference though, with the offering on the pitch what do you expect? No banter with the away fans either. Rentboy was the only highlight. If that guy was ejected for kissing his badge then the stewards confirm what everyone says about them!

Although Jobber is a top guy, I don't think his drum makes that much of a difference now that N has lost it's support. Everyone in L & K joins in obviously but it only has a good effect when it's quiet.

Sods Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 I hate the drum.We are not blackburn rovers. Tooo true. Stick you fooking drum up your arse.
Daggers Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 I would rather the drum is placed into his posterior...but then I come from a better class of The Kop.
