Dr The Singh Posted 3 April 2008 Posted 3 April 2008 I wouldn't miss Hendo at all. I think he's far too error prone and far too shit in the air to be a top keeper even at this level.I would, however, like to see him replaced by someone half decent before we let him go. FUlop!!!!
FilboFox Posted 3 April 2008 Posted 3 April 2008 --------------------- (New Keeper) ---------------------- Stearman ----- (New CB) ----- Kisnorbo ----- Mattock Bell -------- Oakley --------- Hendrie -------- (New ML) --------------- Campbell ---- (New CF) ------------------ Get rid of a lot of players we don't need... but try to keep together the main nucleus of the team otherwise it'll be another season like this one I'm afraid. Bench: Wesoloski Howard Henderson Hume McAuley... although it could be a new defender as I really don't rate McAuley at all... he is a pile of steaming sh*t. I'm willing to be proven wrong but I doubt I will be. I'd like to see Fulop in, a decent defender that is capable at this level and possibly more... a decent winger on the left and a good proven forward. Most of the rest of the dross can begone.
Koke Posted 3 April 2008 Posted 3 April 2008 I actually hope Hume leaves because although I like the guy I just don't think he fits in anywhere. At the moment, he fits in well up front with Howard. But he was constantly played on the wing - and now that we have some wingers, he's out injured. I'd certainly keep Hume.
MrBojangles Posted 3 April 2008 Posted 3 April 2008 It's constant changes that has always got us in a mess in the past. There have been more players going in and out of our revolving doors than at any other club I can think of and that is the main reason we are now fighting for survival in the championship. Anyone who thinks it would benefit us to get rid of our current crop and replace them needs to have a word with himself. We need time to gel and develop as a team.

Jack Hobbs, season long loan from Liverpool. I know he only made the bench for Scunny on Saturday, but he was getting in the Liverpool 16 earlier on this season so he can't be that bad. A season long loan centre back from a top team, similar to Jonny Evans at Sunderland last year. If he's crap, we only have him for a season at the most and haven't got him on a silly 3-4 year contract. If he is good, and Rafa continues his policy of buying players, we may even get to sign him permanently.
outfoxed Posted 4 April 2008 Posted 4 April 2008 No, probably not, although Hayles is now a contender. Especially having discovered his formal identity is Barrington! Apologies if this has been noted before http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/Disciplinary/SuspensionLists/
Candidcamera Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 Stearman, McAuley, Kisnorbo, Mattock, Oakley, Hume, Weso, Porter, King, Chambers - in fact all the good youngsters.
