morris1234 Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 the stoke tickets will probably go by friday when they go on general sale, and it would be hard to ring or even get down on there on the friday if theres any left, so will somebody be able to get 2 tickets for me, im looking for 1 under 17 ticket and 1 adult ticket, i will meet you at the stadium when suitable to pay and pick them up, if anybody would be so kind as to offer to do this please pm me and well sort something out!!! cheers people

Wouldn't it have been better to post this in the Stoke Chit Chat Thread? they dont go on general sale until friday, the tickets are only available for priorty 1 etc at the mintue so even if i did it wouldnt matter.

This game is shaping up to massive for as, and as a result the home ends are expected to be sold out by lunchtime today. We understand that we are waiting until Monday to make a decision on if the south stand (away end) is to be split. I would hazard a guess that Staffs police will have a big influence on this decision, it will be based on your league safety, and if we are up or not by then My advice is buy your tickets now as you may not get anymore. TBH mate not many teams have brought many more than that this season, Bristol only brought 1850 last week for a massive game. If the boot was on the other foot and it could be the day Leicester went up, I don't think we would get a massive allocation at your place People have been queuing for up to two hours since Friday for tickets for this one, demand from the home support is massive, therefore i would expect that priority would go to the home support. Saying that Staffs police seem unable to deal with 2 sets of fans in the same stand and have only allowed it to happen twice this year against S****horpe and Southampton, both of which brought about 6 I will keep you updated with anything i here up this end Cheers Shawn

There's a bit of a mummer around here that our game may be on sky if there is alot ridding on it (i.e your safety and our promotion). Apparently sky asked to leave all the scaffolding gantry's etc up after the Bristol game, just in-case, not sure how true it is but you never know !!

Asked how many were left, reply was not sure but there is extremely limited number of seats remaining now!

That's a fair compromise in my opinion. I hope this is the case because 1,600 isn't a lot at all. Ordering my tickets tomorrow.

The atmosphere was poor last season and their attendance was pretty low. It's also a trek from the train station but there aren't any trains on the last day so I don't think many people will have to worry about that. Highlight of the game last season has got to be when we sang songs to a fatbloke, so he pulled did the full monty and got chucked out. that was quality-who's the w**nker in the green

They will know for sure by Thursday. They can be as reluctant as they want. We are entitled to 10% of the tickets - that is about 2,800. The police will be very reluctant to allow both sets of fans into that stand.

I think so too, this could be our chance to get more tickets, you know what policing at football is like. I don't think they will want both Leicester & Stoke fans in the same end, ecspecially if they aren't up yet & were not safe yet.

Sorry mate I know its not your fault, but thats rubbish. 1,600 tickets for what could be our biggest game in well, a hell of a long time. I suppose the part time Stoke supporters have got to jump on the bandwagon before next season.

Completely wrong. The entitlement for FA Cup games is 15%. Entitlement for league games is nothing at all to do with discretion. Your ticket office can say what it likes - it doesn't necessarily mean that it is true. Even with our full entitlement of 2,800 there will be room in the South Stand for some Stoke fans so there will be some truth in it, but it might not be in the numbers you expect. It will be up to the police and the Safety Committee to give authority for the stand to be split - and to be honest, it isn't an easy stand to split.

C-man Posted 22 April 2008 Posted 22 April 2008 If we have sold out before Saturday's game, and they refuse to give us anymore tickets, it's a disgrace. I'm going to get mine tomorrow morning so I'll be fine, but some fans will struggle. Either way it'll probably be the record league attendance at the Britannia.
