I want the club as a whole to go forwards, not just selected (young) individuals within it.

We all do. All for one, one for all and other such idle cliches. This time next year we can be the Stoke City of the Championship. There's so much to look forward to...........if you close your eyes and dream.

Plus you've got Madonna visiting you in Kent.

It's not about academic requirements, it's the fact that you're simply not very good at it. Your language is very colourful etc but the veracity of your words is questionable at best as it certainly isn't representative of what ANYONE else seems to think.

Still, if Alan Shee han weekly or Over-hyping Youth Players Journal are recruiting, I'm sure you'd be well set.

I don't profess to be good at anything these days.

As for journalism I've always felt the most important thing was to be read.

So, though well past my prime, what you've said is most reassuring! :D

Still contemplating Taggart & Beaglehole to run the A-team then Thrac?

I don't suppose either had much say in who was utilised tonight - any more than I'd have imagined they'd have chosen to play some of the personnel pre-Christmas.

But having been given a squad which inevitably meant a host of changes from previous matches, at least they did enough to turn a potential hammering into a draw and tha while being a man short as well.

Quite commendable I'd say.

I might be reviewing some of my A-I ratings though.

Cheers for the report Thrac.

This game somehow defines our first teams season. Jekyl and Hyde! How we can go from pants with 11 men to higher quality with ten in the space of two half's baffles me but then again we seem to blow hot and cold from game to game so doing it from half to half in the Ressies shouldn't surprise me.

At least the lads had a run about and have sharperned up in readiness for the Owls.

This is not a good thing.

I've applied for tickets (so should you all) as someone told me that Hot Chip are playing.

The Enemy are, which is basically one of the only confirmed acts I'm bothered about seeing.

It's in Maidstone though - so I really ought to go.

Sappleton and Hayles up front would be hilarious, scary and beautiful. I want this on Saturday.

A couple of runs apiece and the place would be like a war zone with bodies scattered everywhere. Lildave 3 would be taking plaster casts of the footprints for posterity.

Good job there's no stanchions behind the goal otherwise Health and Safety would have to check them to see they'd stand up to a Sappzilla shot. Serious safety helmets for the stewards would be a must. :scarf::D

If our stadium runs the risk of falling down if we stage concerts, then god knows how it'll stand up to a thundering Sappleton run
