Mark Posted 26 March 2005 Posted 26 March 2005 Hinckley United's hopes of staging Leicester City Reserve game is a step closer this week after a Premier League delegation inspected the Marston's Stadium before giving it the go-ahead.If City's management also give the go-ahead, they could play their remaining three reserve-team games there this season. They will then play all of their games next season at Hinckley. A City spokesman said: "The venue has been sanctioned by the Premier League. But a further decision as to whether we play there is yet to be made."
C-man Posted 26 March 2005 Posted 26 March 2005 Yeah, i thought they might do this, because if Tigers do groundshare, the pitch wont be able to take reserve games too, and with a new quality stadium at Hinckley, why not play there?

Jonbluefox9 Posted 26 March 2005 Posted 26 March 2005 I went there last night and it's a decent little ground. They could do with giving the old Carling Stand seats a wash down though. I'd find it easy to get to games if they were played at Hinckley.
