davieG Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 What a strange award to have, do disabled supporters have different views about things to the rest of us. Very weird. Perhaps they sponsor it
gibbom Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 i went to the awards on saturday night, all the players seemed happy to sign autographs and have photographs taken, didn't hear anything about the sheffield wednesday game apart from when i spoke to ian holloway about it and he just said that we should have won it on the first first half performance alone. great night anyway

Edmund Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 What a strange award to have, do disabled supporters have different views about things to the rest of us. Very weird. my thoughts exactly. Another immoral marketing scheme me thinks. I think its a absolute joke that an awards dinner is being held at such a crucial point in the season. Should have been held back until the end of the season and if we were relegated, abandoned. The only positive I can I hope for is that it boosts players/player morales but I wouldn't hold my breath. If I was Mandric i would abandon the awards dinner and use the money to get a bus to travel for a day touring a handful of league 1 clubs and make holloway and the squad tour the grounds and changing rooms. Basically to wake them up and realise that life may not what it used to be with out no dis respect to the lower league clubs. Also Mandric would make a good tour operator with that Californian twang.
