mat_j101 Posted 10 May 2008 Posted 10 May 2008 Before i get slated for having no link, i dont, and i cant prove this is true, but I spoke to a friend who knows McAuleys girlfriend, and she told him his contract is up at the end of the season, and he has had a contract offer from a London club (she wasnt allowed to tell him who) which was 'a good offer'. Apparently we havent offered him one yet, but he wants to wait to see if we do. I know probably many people wont believe it as there is no link, but im pretty sure this is genuine, so just thought id put it out there. EDIT: This is evidentally not true since he is not out of contract! Apologies!

He obviously signed up when we were in the sh!t and you'd think he'd have to give us at least a year. Let's not forget he was playing league 2 before we signed him too. Good news, he's one I'd want to keep. If we did end up having to sell it would also put us in a strong bargaining position with three years on his contract and I'd expect close to 7 figures.
