Not in any way would Avram Grant come to Leicester city! I think we are more likely to see England win Euro 2008!
Jay Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Not in any way would Avram Grant come to Leicester city!I think we are more likely to see England win Euro 2008! isn't he a long time good mate with Milan though? Milan gave him the job as Technical director at Portsmouth and have been friends for many years I imagine Grant was the man who recommended The Yak to Milan and Pompey when he was playing in Israel. I don't think he would be anything like the right man for the job in League 1 though

Hmmmm!
Jonezy Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Not realistic really, but I could see him work in some kind of technical director role dealing with scouting and transfer, and then a manager with good man management and motivation skills underneath him. But Avram can land a top job in Israel at anytime.
Tilley Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 C'mon mate get real, Last week he was managing in the Champions League final, I don't think Yeovil on a Tuesday night appeals to him.

Off course is far fetched..... But Grant doesn't look like a manager who will become part of the big clubs merry go around. I actually believe that the Leicester City job will seen by many managers as a good challenge. If you can turn it around, you will become legend and have made a name for yourself in management. I'm sure that this job is not as unattractive as it seems.
Benji Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Even if he did he can bugger off, the guy is tacticly inept and an actual baffoon. I think a 6 year old could have got the chelsea team in the top 3 and at least to the champions league quarters with the team they have.
l444ry Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 He wasn't exactly a household name before being jettisoned into the Chelsea job therefore to join Leicester would hardly be the impossibility some think. If he were an arrogant man perhaps he might have ideas of grandeur. Because he has great humility anything is possible.

Does that make him a buffoon, Benji?
