Depending on the amount and extent of laws you make everyone can become a victim. Doesn't mean the laws are wise or justified. The Jews in Nazi Germany became victims of new laws clearly enough. Would you have condemned mothers for sheltering their first born sons in Biblical times when the law said those sons should be slain?

Some laws are made for the common good, others are made for the advancement of ideological beliefs, some to enforce the authority of leaders and still more as an excuse for intollerance. I well understand your respect for the law but don't expect me to defend the motives of lawmakers or the enforcers of those laws.

Ah, but when you've been on the receiving end of a parking ticket you can, especially when you feel like you have been so wronged. Imagine it Lisa, there you are parked illegally and you get caught and given a ticket. It cannot be too unlike being on the receiving end of genocide.
