And down! I was sorry to see him go, thought he had something to work on, no worse than the present shower shown last season. Thought at 65k he was a gift May come back and bite us on the arse. knowitall Posted 28 May 2008 Posted 28 May 2008 Even if he had scored 6 or 7 in the same amount of appearances, no matter how you dress it up, it still isn't good enough.I don't disagree with how poor our strikers have been this season, however, if you gave Campbell a run of 40 games, he would be very likely to score more than that. You can list all the attributes you want about O'Grady, but you could apply that to any footballer who plays at a decent level - doesn't necessarily make them a good player at Championship or even League One level. If Campbell got 40 games in that would make over 4,000 off sides in a season. Wow

Ooh I wish we'd had another striker with 11 goals a season, bollocks, sell them all and buy a couple who can get 15-20 each and don't sit and whine in the changing room and piss the managers off a la Huuuuume.
