Moreton Posted 6 June 2008 Posted 6 June 2008 We have been relegation the league one for the first time in our history and it hurts. The hurt is now healing for me and i am looking forward to the new season. I am feeling very optimistic, as are most others. For the last few years we have been in the lower reaches of the Championship and all i have ever wanted, apart from promotion, is for Leicester to be seen as a major force in the league with people saying: "Who we got next?" "Leicester" "Oh fook, well lets hope for a draw then because thats all we are going to get, if we are lucky!" However this has never really happened apart from the start of last season when people predicted this would be the case, although it never was. But now we are where we are i really do think that people will see leicester as a massive force in league one, a game that all will be saying the above This makes me feeling very very good.

thybluefox Posted 6 June 2008 Posted 6 June 2008 I'm actually well excited about this coming season. Maybe because there is a 'relatively' good chance of seeing some wins, maybe because there is a 'relatively' good chance of getting promoted. At least I bloody hope so.
Nod.E Posted 6 June 2008 Posted 6 June 2008 Yeah I agree it's a great feeling. Thing is with more teams coming to our games looking for draws, it's gonna be harder to score and ultimately win games. If we're not good enough we'll see an average season, scoring not many and conceding few. Sounds familiar, eh! Hopefully we'll be good enough to break down 5 men defences/defencive systems, but with our current strike force I just can't see it. By the time we finish mid-table due to this, people will no longer fear us untill we're stuck in league 2. Well, that's the pessimistic side of things, anyway!
