Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 26 June 2008 Posted 26 June 2008 Stayed up late last night to watch the first leg of the Copa Libertadores from Ecuador. LDU Quito V Fluminense. Really, really good game, amazing noise from the fans, and some cracking goals. Quito scored within 100 seconds and went on to win the game 4-2. I think it's repeated some time in the week for those who have Setanta. Anyone else watch it?
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 June 2008 Author Posted 29 June 2008 Well this is the most unnsuccessful thread ever.
purpleronnie Posted 29 June 2008 Posted 29 June 2008 I've been watching it too mate, very popular over here even more so than the euro's.
Father Ted Posted 29 June 2008 Posted 29 June 2008 I remember watching programmes on Five at like 5 in the morning that used to show repeats of stuff like that

purpleronnie Posted 29 June 2008 Posted 29 June 2008 Have to say I haven't seen to much, but what I did I enjoyed.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 June 2008 Author Posted 29 June 2008 Have to say I haven't seen to much, but what I did I enjoyed. I'll post on here when the second leg is due. I'm guessing if you get it live then the timings won't be as obscure as over here?
purpleronnie Posted 29 June 2008 Posted 29 June 2008 No its usually about the same time as kick off, unfortunately all the euro matches have been on whilst I'm at work so I listen to the commentary in my office and watch the match when I get home (tivo is ace).
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 3 July 2008 Author Posted 3 July 2008 It's on now. Anyone with Setanta please put it on. Quito have gone 1-0 up after 5 minutes.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 3 July 2008 Author Posted 3 July 2008 5 minutes later and Thiago Neves has equalised for Fluminense.
Asha Posted 3 July 2008 Posted 3 July 2008 5 minutes later and Thiago Neves has equalised for Fluminense. Is Setanta any good then? Because was going to get but someone said they only put shite foreign football, Blue Square Premier games and the Youth Cups and stuff on.

Yeah it's alright. Has Premiership games, and next season gets some England games (friendlies and qualifiers), as well as FA Cup, and Charity Shield. If you don't mind SPL then theres plenty of that. Just as good as Sky Sports imo. -And Neves has just put Fluminense 2-1 up.
