john_lcfc Posted 5 April 2005 Posted 5 April 2005 I thought the kop were loud today for once though we onky have one song but it was inpressive. craig levin blue and white army!! why was everyone singing today?
dave_binos Posted 5 April 2005 Posted 5 April 2005 I would hazard a guess that it would be to try and get behind the team
Chimp Posted 5 April 2005 Posted 5 April 2005 I've lost my voice and my hands hurt like hell... the thing is with that chant is that if you keep going, even if it's just a few of you, the rest will start to join in. It felt good to have a bit of atmosphere in the kop, it's something we've sorely missed this season. Who scored the goal? The fans.
C-man Posted 5 April 2005 Posted 5 April 2005 The fans were excellent today, but they needed the ref to wind them up and get them going. Well that is my theory anyway. The 'EASY' chant is great
Benji Posted 5 April 2005 Posted 5 April 2005 the stewards wound up L1 area and i think that passed through the crowd it was when the cheering started we scored which shows it can effect attacking mentality i was dissappointed in wolves following, they usually sell their allocation a lot more
Leicester_Mad Posted 5 April 2005 Posted 5 April 2005 the stewards wound up L1 area and i think that passed through the crowdit was when the cheering started we scored which shows it can effect attacking mentality i was dissappointed in wolves following, they usually sell their allocation a lot more 88174 dont think anything from L1 passed round to the kop, as i couldnt really hear anything. Could see a lot of standing and the odd chant of "EASY EASY" but thats it. Kop did the business today but whats the point in 1 match in 23?
Anish Posted 5 April 2005 Posted 5 April 2005 The fans in the kop were magnificent - well done to you all. It was great to finally have some atmosphere in the WS and it defo made a difference. Shame we stopped the singing once we'd scored, although the team's poor tactics/play after we were in front didn't help.
Deathside Posted 5 April 2005 Posted 5 April 2005 the stewards wound up L1 area and i think that passed through the crowd 88174 What exactly was going on at the back of K1 / L1? - From half way down I really couldn't see what was happening
Newcastle_Fox Posted 5 April 2005 Posted 5 April 2005 Yeh sat in the Kop tonight was a good atmosphere and my hands hurt now from clapping and chanting Craig Leveins Blue & White Army. We kept the chant up for ages and it succeeded in getting us a goal. Shame though we stopped it when we scored. I always thought we was gonna concede a goal when we decided to sit back and let wolves attack us.
jase67 Posted 5 April 2005 Posted 5 April 2005 I think that is the most noise I can remember in the new Kop, everyone around me was singing for that 10 minute period.
Benji Posted 5 April 2005 Posted 5 April 2005 teeno will be the best to ask apparently someone some of us know was kicked out for something pathetic and so they decided to get the cameras out on everyone thing was there were about 100 odd so there was no way anyone would be taken out after
Teeno Posted 9 April 2005 Posted 9 April 2005 Baker, a lad who stands next to me and Ash was chucked out for making obscene gestures (willy puller sign) at the Wolves fans, along with 000's of others but the ol' bill pick him out and chucked him out. But in the 2nd half one of my mates from school was chucked out for being a twat and being aggresive to stewards when asked to sit down.
C-man Posted 9 April 2005 Posted 9 April 2005 Tut tut, you get that though - part and parcel of football now im afraid
Durnerz Posted 10 April 2005 Posted 10 April 2005 A bit belated but anyway, It is so easy to be arrested at a football match now, just stand up and try and support your team and for some reason thats an offence, it must be an embarassment to any copper filling out a form for that. Anyway back to the game, Kop were superb 2nd half, why cant they do that all the time? The ref winding us up helped I think, it was similar at Charlton and Reading away when we had bad refs, L1 was normal but thats what you'd expect with 20-30 of leicestershire OB shaking with anticipation of the next person to eject, half the time its just picked at random by the fat bastard on the stairs.
Mad Dog Posted 10 April 2005 Posted 10 April 2005 Its those ####s in orange. bald one and one with a hat on.
Durnerz Posted 10 April 2005 Posted 10 April 2005 The blonde woman is the worst, the one with a face like a slapped arse "IF YOU DONT SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP I'LL THROW YOU OUT" must have been her first day on the job
Lukeh Posted 11 April 2005 Posted 11 April 2005 The fans were excellent today, but they needed the ref to wind them up and get them going. Well that is my theory anyway. The 'EASY' chant is great 88168 Not when they scored and every single Wolves fan was doing it!
