Jonezy Posted 16 July 2008 Posted 16 July 2008 Why do everyone want to go away from the League One mention? I know it might not be handy in hopefully a season's time, but this season we are about to enter is historical for Leicester City. After 124 years, we are for the first time in the 3rd bloody tier, and WE are the generation, right here, right now to face this historical climax, although we all would have preferred to be without it. The 'We are on a League One tour' slogan helped raise a few moods, when we all felt terrible and had to take abuse from everywhere. So I say, stick it on the flag, so we'll have a flag to always remember when we faced 3rd tier footie for the first time EVER. If we get out of this mess, as quick as we hope for, the flag could always remind us about where we once where and whatever memories we'll get from being there. Love the designs we are working though....
Lillehamring Posted 16 July 2008 Posted 16 July 2008 Like the big flag lots. Less sure about the smaller one and do have some reservations about the 'League 1 Tour'. I like the wording on the design 'A Fox for Life' has done. I think adding the .co.uk makes it more obvious what Foxestalk is and will help with promoting the forum and I like the 'on tour' reference. Oh, and I would definitely lose the dots in the L.C.F.C on this flag. Possibly in the F.C. of the larger flag too, although that looks less cumbersome. fu(k that...we're having enough trouble sustaining the clique and scaring off newbies as it is ..um, but seriously, a suggestion from a conscientious non-subscriber, if you are going to have the web adress on it, it really should be lower case, don't you people use the internet when was the last time you saw a web adress in upper case...
evs_the_fox Posted 16 July 2008 Posted 16 July 2008 uppercase/lowercase. it doesn't matter on a website, it'll still load.

Love the designs we are working though.... for all the wrong reasons. The less reference to league 1 the better imo. hopefully in a years time i can forget this coming season ever happened. wishful thinking.

If you can't see any enjoyment in visiting a load a little grounds and experiencing new towns then I feel sorry for you. Promotion or no, I am looking forward to this season purely because it is going to be an honest one. On top of that what began as a handful of people on the forum being sociable has grown into a large collective of like-minded souls with a wonderful sense of humour. Home days may be like any other only - but this season is all about the away day. Bring it on
Lillehamring Posted 16 July 2008 Posted 16 July 2008 uppercase/lowercase. it doesn't matter on a website, it'll still load. um, duh, well of course - but this is on a flag not a website, i'm talking aesthetics and the form of how information is displayed... trust me, lower case on the flag will not only look much more natural, it will also look less cluttered...
