hairy Posted 8 August 2008 Posted 8 August 2008 Firstly may I express my disappointment that you are not using your Archos to the full Mr Daggers. Use the sound recorder option with the analog in selected. Place the archos in the station thing ang use the red and white jacks on the line in option. Plug the other end into into your amp as though it were a cassette deck. Play the record and hit record. This will record it as a WAV (12 bit?) Transfer the recording to your PC. Open it using Goldwave. Crop the beginning and end off. Run the effects filter for light hiss removal and passive pop and crackle remover. Convert the WAV to mp3 320 and tag and rename. Easy. I have the 7" of Hit The North and no I'm not doing it for you.
