i really want adams to feature, eprsonally i dont andy king is ready and the times ive seen him this season hes not been great, adams had a good record at bury, okay league2 level but i still think hes more creative than king, kish and weso put together.

Reserves lost 3-1 yesterday - I didn't read anything about him being especially creative. He's had his moments with the first team too but looked poor against Luton and has certainly done no more than a good many others and not as much as King. Not even close.

We always have people clamouring to use new signings and I am sure Adams will play his part well enough in time. But let's judge people on what they do within the situation they're playing in now. Otherwise I might start quoting just how creative and freescoring King was at a lower level.:D

I've seen all the pre-season games he's played in, which is most of them and both the league games. So every game he has played. For me, he is one of our more creative players and I think he's vital in the team at the moment, no doubt Thracian is writing something similar as we speak.

He's got a half decent shot on him from outside the box, with a continued run in the team like I've said before, he'll only improve. One of the main things people wanted from this season was to involve the youth and he's done that justice so far.

Adams wouldn't be half as near competitive in the midfield compared to King and we lose a lot of grit and passing ability I reckon.

If Adams is going to get in the team, personally it's got to be in a wide posistion I reckon.

My question to you is why isn't Tunchev on the starting line up. I love him there compared to the Bench area

I actually think Morrison (who i know didn't play too well pre-season) and Hobbs look a better pairing at the minute. I think Tunchev has looked alittle ropey, so i think Hobbs and Morrison deserve to start, but i also wouldn't mind if Tunchev played as i think he will be a great player when he settles in.

couldnt agree less! its been said before, what do you expect howard to do? he can only do what he is given! if somebpodys lumps the ball up to him, thats not his fault, the only thing he can do then is win the header, and to be honest most of the time he does, like somebody else said (cant remember) do expect him to be doing cart wheels or scoring 25 yard headers lol thats not what he does, he holds the ball up and links well, he provides a huge danger in the air and hes very experienced which an only be good for our young squad! i think howard has played well so far this season, hes done whatever was needed and has done it very well, hes also putting more effort in with slide tackles and more running and as a city fan all i ever want to see a player do is try and try hard!

I know it isn't Howards fault and he does well when winning headers and knocking them on, but what i'm saying is the style of football we play when Howard plays isn't really creative and we still don't look like scoring alot of the time so i would prefer Dickov and Fryatt or DJ and Fryatt up front to play the ball on the floor and look positive when we attack and like something is going to happen. I know Pearson will stick with Howard and i really hope he does well, as long as Leciester win and we get out of league 1 and back into the championship i don't really care!

I agree with this entirely.

Apart from the bit equating Kingy to Martin Peters.

Equating to the "style of" Martin Peters is not quite the same as equating to the man himself. As a man of your eloquence well knows. :D

If Tunchev is unfit for tomorrow, then we have a slight problem at LB. After 3 clean sheets on the trot, I'd hate to see our defence unit moved around.

I'm surprised, with the other signings Pearson has made (in my opinion good so far), he's left us short at left back. Mattock is good but young so prone to getting tired etc.. a good quality left back is definately needed what with Mattock being out for so long - i think we have a big problem at left back that needs addressing with a long-term prospect, not just a stop gap - that didn't work last season (Clapham) and wont work this

Curiously I've just made exactly the same point in another thread.

Henderson

Gilbert Morrison Tunchev Hobbs

Gradel Oakley King Dyer

Fryatt Howard

Andy King will bag one tomorrow along with Morrison.

The midfield shouldnt be broken yet, has been very strong and King and Oakley are looking to be creating a very good partnership.
