I doubt she'll be best pleased you mentioning them in the same breath.

She is not amused.

I remeber a tranmere mid week game at filbo.

it was snowbound and David Speedie scored.

this may all be in my imagination but im sure it was true.

Id like for someone to confirm it was true please.

Feb 28 1994, City 1 Tranmere 1. McGreal scored both goals, and the game was almost called off.

On the way to the ground, I was stopped and asked for directions by a very good looking young man. He was going for the 92 (grounds), and ours and York City's games were the only ones not postponed. Turned out he was some best mate of this up and coming Liverpool player, Jamie Redknapp, and he ended up watching the game with me in Pen 2.

Unfortunately nothing happened, and he shook my hand after the game, and wished City all the best. I think I blew it by jumping on him when City scored.

Anyone remember the 1995 match? There was only about 13,000 there, I was five years old and freezing, and we lost to a second-half goal. Low shot into the corner past Kevin Poole. One of McGhee's last home matches I think?

Well, here's just few examples from last season...

1. Leeds: They ran into a pub, singing, shouting and smashing which ended up with 'normal' Tranmere fans being glassed, attacked and abused.

2. Hereford: They spat at normal fans, set off stink bombs and attacked any home fan they could.

3. Bradford they werent too bad, but they where having abit of bother with the home fans, underneath the stands.

4. Forest, they where just clowns all the way from the station.

They're all about 16-25 and think they're action men, but one day they're all gonna get whats coming to them. Even last saturday a minibus full of Hartlepool fans was smashed up.

Hopefully this saturday they behave, but it's always when we play a bigger club or take a bigger following.

Why did I not hear about this? It must have made the front page!!

If any scally Tranmere fans are reading this, please note:-

I have a hole in my heart, and will die if I am struck.

You don't want an innocent bit of football violence to turn into a murder charge, do you?

Please don't attack me.
