Bert Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 Good evening lady and la' Foxes. It's a pleasure bumping into you again. It's been too long after the cup final all them years ago. I thought you'd drop alot quicker than that. The days of us tackling a Premiership team at Wembley, have long gone - we're truly shit now. Even our fans, who done us proud on that day, have fooked off. I wouldnt be suprised if we brought a low crowd to your gaf. Dont expect many of us. We have too many Liverpool/Tranmere or Everton/Tranmere fans nowadays, who'd rather stay in the boozer watching the other two scumbag clubs. However, i'll will be there and im looking forward to spending the day in lovely Leicestershire. We're shite, so you may batter us. But who knows? I warn in advance, that we have loads of 'scallies' who like to follow us. They're horrible little ****ers, but im sure you've got enough of your idiots to sort them out. Much more actually. Like I said, looking forward to it. 'Matty Elliott yer tit' Welcome. (Tranmere) Where ya from mate?(Tevez, Ched etc @ Morrisons) Just around (Tranmere) Your from fooking Leicester arn't ya? (Tranmere) You know Stanley? (Tevez, Ched etc @ Morrisons run) You make me Barry. About 23k for our first game.Yeah you can expect a half decent atmosphere from the fans to the left of the away section. Who aren't Chavs btw.
Bert Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 Shame that <_< Suppose we shouldn't expect too many away fans this season. We'll bring a fair few their place, If we're doing well, we'll bring a lot.
chrise Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 I may be wrong, we might pull a 1,000. But sometimes I prefer smaller crowds. Bigger crowds bring out our nobheads, like I mention in my opening post. Bring em down!! Everyone has em mate but they wont last long ere!! Enjoy the game - But not the result!
merseyparadise Posted 19 August 2008 Author Posted 19 August 2008 Bring em down!! Everyone has em mate but they wont last long ere!! Enjoy the game - But not the result! To be fair, they're always the same wherever they go. Ninian Park, Bellend Road, Forest, Swansea, it doesnt faze them. But, it's usually the geniune fans who take the flack afterwards. Retards, the lot of them.

We always tend to have far too many police at home games, perhaps for once it will be justified.

Leeds: They ran into a pub, singing, shouting and smashing which ended up with 'normal' Tranmere fans being glassed, attacked and abused. 2. Hereford: They spat at normal fans, set off stink bombs and attacked any home fan they could. 3. Bradford they werent too bad, but they where having abit of bother with the home fans, underneath the stands. 4. Forest, they where just clowns all the way from the station. They're all about 16-25 and think they're action men, but one day they're all gonna get whats coming to them. Even last saturday a minibus full of Hartlepool fans was smashed up. Hopefully this saturday they behave, but it's always when we play a bigger club or take a bigger following.

Watching from quite a distance while police tackle them, I mean. I'm a massive coward.
Flynny Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 and my dog, dave. I doubt she'll be best pleased you mentioning them in the same breath.

Remember having a few beers and a laugh with some of you tranmere boys before wembley and hope to meet some of you for a beer before saturdays game. Leiester look a good outfit but the missing piece of the jigsaw is a goalscorer so you do have a chance against Leicester as we cant put chances away. Enjoy the day out at the walkers.

Dr The Singh Posted 20 August 2008 Posted 20 August 2008 Fooking Scumbags Then they moan why police are so heavy handed!!!!!!
purpleronnie Posted 20 August 2008 Posted 20 August 2008 I shall. I remember the days when we'd easily take 1500 on saturday, but sadly it wont be the case this saturday. I've always liked Tranmere, and respect the fans who go instead of going to the 'other 2'. But I hope you lose saturday.
Raj Posted 20 August 2008 Posted 20 August 2008 I remeber a tranmere mid week game at filbo. it was snowbound and David Speedie scored. this may all be in my imagination but im sure it was true. Id like for someone to confirm it was true please.
merseyparadise Posted 20 August 2008 Author Posted 20 August 2008 Then they moan why police are so heavy handed!!!!!! That's exactly what they do. Like i've said, lets hope they dont turn up, or behave if they do.

Id like for someone to confirm it was true please. He scored in the 1994 play-off semi-final. That was midweek, but on the video it didn't look like it was snowing. I remember Ian Moore scoring a winner on a freezing Sunday afternoon in 1995 at Filbert St.
