Knighton Matt Posted 11 April 2005 Posted 11 April 2005 i was walking through the park with my missus and saw 4 lads chucking an american football about (that was near the overdale school entrance though not the football pitches)
C-man Posted 12 April 2005 Posted 12 April 2005 Yeah that was before training, we moved to the football pitches at about 2. Was that around about that time?
mystic Posted 28 April 2005 Posted 28 April 2005 Alex[ikokopops) If you want to try American football there's a new team starting in Lincoln - whereabouts are you based? Pat
mystic Posted 28 April 2005 Posted 28 April 2005 P.S. Any Leicester players that fancy travelling 50 odd miles to Lincoln are welcome to join! :-)
shack Posted 28 April 2005 Posted 28 April 2005 I had a dable with the Panthers maany years ago. So what's the team called, are you in a league, which league or is it just a bit of fun?
Tommy Posted 28 April 2005 Author Posted 28 April 2005 I had a dable with the Panthers maany years ago.So what's the team called, are you in a league, which league or is it just a bit of fun? 100134[/snapback] The team is called the knighton shadows, we are not in a league yet but are looking to be in one by this time next year

If by february next year we can prove that we have a ground and a team the shadows will be playing in the league next year
mystic Posted 29 April 2005 Posted 29 April 2005 The Lincoln Bombers will (hopefully) be joining BAFL (formerly the British Senior League) for the 2006 season fingers crossed. Good luck to the Shadows! What form of fotball are you gonna be playing? Flag or youth kitted. I know the Bamford that help run BYAFA very well. One thought, will the rest of the country (your victims!) know where Knighton is? Have you considered Leicester or Leicestershire for the name? All the best, Pat
