The People's Hero Posted 9 October 2008 Posted 9 October 2008 I'M NOT ANYONNNNNNNNNNNE, I'M NOT ANYOOOOOOOONE!
Libertine Posted 9 October 2008 Posted 9 October 2008 Songbird is one by Liam. No other decent ones really, except maybe I'm Outta Time on the new record. But it wouldn't have been that.
Lillehamring Posted 9 October 2008 Posted 9 October 2008 Was it any of these? linky don't work, but i guess i could just search it myself
Sparky Posted 9 October 2008 Posted 9 October 2008 Songbird is one by Liam.No other decent ones really, except maybe I'm Outta Time on the new record. But it wouldn't have been that. I think thats the best track on the new album
ASH17LCFC Posted 9 October 2008 Posted 9 October 2008 By the way all them links are Noel and mostly live, except 3 i think. I think Noel on his on own is out of this world. He puts so much into his singing, like take Help. His version would make John Lennon proud and Slide Away live was for me the greatest live performance ever. Liam said about Noel solo album, good for him, i hope he gives it away for free because i won't be buying it Also said Noel was the greatest song writer of his era.
Alexikokopops Posted 9 October 2008 Posted 9 October 2008 linky don't work, but i guess i could just search it myself It's just from Noel Gallagher's Wikipedia page, there's a section with a list of Oasis songs he's written
ASH17LCFC Posted 9 October 2008 Posted 9 October 2008 It's just from Noel Gallagher's Wikipedia page, there's a section with a list of Oasis songs he's written Little James was a stormer , people say it changed music forever
Guest Posted 19 August 2009 Posted 19 August 2009 Is it the mid nineties? Gallagher Feud: We Don't Speak, Says Liam 5:45pm UK, Wednesday August 19, 2009 Oasis' Gallagher brothers are no longer on speaking terms and only see each other on stage, according to front man Liam. Tense: Relations between Liam and Noel Gallagher have got worse over the years The singer has made the revelation just days before the band headline the V Festival. Liam told NME: "He doesn't like me and I don't like him, that's it. "He hasn't told me what he thinks of anything this year. We've got nothing to say to each other at the moment." He reckons the last time they spoke was during a row at airport when he claims he made Noel cry. Since then the pair have travelled separately. Liam also revealed in the interview his uncertainty over the future of the band after Noel claimed he would like a five-year hiatus. "For the first time in my life I haven't got a ******* clue what's going on with Oasis, you know what I mean?" he said. "It's pretty confusing but I'm not going to freak out about it." With the Gallaghers no longer on speaking terms, they have taken to exchanging insults via Twitter and blogs. Noel performs with Oasis This week Liam called his brother the "fool on the bill" after the guitarist was pictured on a night out, and accused him of looking like "he had got through to the next round of X Factor". Meanwhile, Noel recently complained that "What'siz'name" was "probably on his man period" during a gig at Camden's Roundhouse last month. Liam said the pair now trade insults on the internet "to save the ******* tour imploding". He said Noel wouldn't have the nerve to criticise him in person "because he's a ******* lightweight and he knows where he'd end up". Liam though also told NME that he would not stand in the way of his brother making a solo album. The V festival marks one of the last concert dates for Oasis, who have been performing on their worldwide stadium tour for almost a year. Christ, I thought time was linear rather than cyclical
Edmund Posted 19 August 2009 Posted 19 August 2009 Is it the mid nineties?Christ, I thought time was linear rather than cyclical Classic band marketing stunt. Keeps them in the papers.

Hugo Sanchez Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Right instead of getting into another slating match with you and endless threads. You mean by your last post Oasis only keep their fame by pulling stunts what keep them in the papers. Ok i can see why you think that, there be doing it for quite somewhile and we all know they hate each other. BUT .... Why do people and not just a few, go and watch Oasis live ? I mean if you think of it right. People who went to see them this year were only 4 or 5 when they came out. Why do the younger people follow a band what had its heyday ? Why do people still want them in the papers and why if they was hanging on to fame. Would any national paper write big stories on them ? Surely Oasis are still over big time ? I mean you can't sell out big stadiums all over the world if your not still popular and people don't like your music. Their new album sold well around the world aswell. So surely if they were hanging onto previous glory. They would not be selling as many records or playing big stadiums around the world. I'm sorry but in my opinion Oasis are probally the most talked about band since The Beatles and always will have their records being played.

There split was also featured on motd. They made a point of sitting in separate boxes and one of them conveniently got interviewed by motd after the match. Welcome to the music industry

Finchy Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 Wow another great reponce from you. So i'm gonna reply to you with this.OASIS ARE AND ALWAYS WILL BE MORE POPULAR THEN BLUR *Than. Coldplay are more popular than Radiohead, popularity means fook all to me.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 *Than.Coldplay are more popular than Radiohead, popularity means fook all to me. Popularity is everything in music, Where The Beatles the best and most talented band in the world ? Surely your popularity would mean people perfer and like you more to other bands. Rather be selling out stadiums then playing toilets. My mates a musican and you haven't gotta be a great in your field like Noel isn't. He's just got the songs and the popularity and why is that ? People wanna hear your musis.Blur the great musican they are, could they sell out wembley 3 times ?
