Libertine Posted 28 September 2008 Posted 28 September 2008 i'm i the only one who likes them both No.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 I have all Blink's and all KOL album's and imo the winner is................................KOL, they are both good but blink turned to mainstream and became too much of a gimic.
Darkzzz_ Posted 29 September 2008 Author Posted 29 September 2008 Nathko is: Preparing for Blink 182 backlash.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 Nathko is: Preparing for Blink 182 backlash. They mustn't have heard use somebody yet
Darkzzz_ Posted 29 September 2008 Author Posted 29 September 2008 They mustn't have heard use somebody yet I know. But the debate will go on forever. I suppose it is better we all don't like the same things. It would be boring if we did. I never really read reviews or listen to what other people say, I always give music a few listens before I decide if I like it. It is what I have said from the beginning, It is all about opinions.

Very Much like me then, For example I love Led Zeppelin, but then you hear people say things like " well if you are a Zep fan, you shouldn't listen to that band" I listen to what I want and that is that. Does it mean I am sinner against certain bands because I listen to other types of music, I don't care, I am not that sad to go by what NME and other such sites say.

Well, even the Buddha demo is better than anything KOL have done, nevermind Dude Ranch (their best). They didn't really turn mainstream, they had big success doing their thing with Enema of the State, only with their last cd their turned to mainsteam cause their sound changed and Tom got big headed and fooked the band up.

I thought about what I'd posted abit too late, I know no one was going to agree. It's badly recorded but I like, sounds better than KOL to me. Carousel & 21 days does things for me.

Tilley Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 'Use Somebody' is probably my favourite track Faverite tracks at the minuite are, use somebody, sex on fire and manhattan, they just happen to pretty much be in that order on the album. Use Somebody is the standout track for me at the mo...what a tune!Sure I read somewhere on this thread someone saying Caleb's vocals were shit? ...mental. Use someboby is just awesome Good work guys.

I was only joking when I said that pal. You like them, I don't and that is it. Each to their own. Like you said, it would be boring if we all agreed on things.

I respect your opinion. Least you like Zep anyway....

Kings are a love em or hate them band people complain cos there too comercial but you can't knock there music. I've got all 4 albums and this one could be the best imo Personally i don't think they make a bas album.
