But his posts have been deleted for some reason Anyway yeah hopefully we'll get some help, I mean there's acres and acres of fields around our area, hopefully we'll be given something.

Ozwin Posted 13 October 2008 Author Posted 13 October 2008 It hit a brick wall. We were up for it one minute then the next everyone said they wouldn't be up for it anymore. It's like Tevez told me, there's some doubters who keep putting the idea down and don't think it'd happen which puts a halt to the idea as you can't start something without people involved. I'm going to have a word with my co-setter-upper guy tommorow at 6-a-side and we'll try and sort something out. I really want to do it but with people not really giving straight answers it's going to be tough. I think I just need to get the ball rolling so people see that I'm actually doing it.

I could get at least four decent standard guys. One of them had trials for Derby and another, Forest. One of them's a centre back who's absolutely awesome, unfortunately he's wasted in 5 a side at the minute. I'm a right back who's half decent, not too bad on the stamina / fitness front. We have on South African who has about twelve pairs of boots and fancies himself as a tricky winger, not so good on the tricks front but is absolute lighting, and a short, stocky chap who can actually dance round players. We're all aged 18, the oldest of us turns 19 in January. That's about your age right?

We're probably lacking going forward with this current bunch. I mean I'm a forward/winger, and a mate is an attacking player but the rest of the team are good at the back/defensive midfielders. Bringing your mates along would be good, I mean having someone who's had trials at Forest and so on sounds great, but would he really want to join a side of players who havn't played 11-a-side competitively before? Would we all be left in his wake? As for your tricky south american, I fooking love the sound of him And you adding some steel at the back would be nice too as I don't think we have any right backs.

Right back, can play attacking midfield if needed, along with a centre back who's veratile and could play attacking mid as well, and two wingers / strikers.
Ozwin Posted 13 October 2008 Author Posted 13 October 2008 I think if you brought your mate along who's awesome at the back we'd be pretty sorted as a lot of the players we have are defensive anyway, I'm sure someone would slot in nicely with him. If you can play attackingly then that'd be useful like I say, I mean the more up front the better.

Short, stocky, and Irish. To look at him you wouldn't think he could do tricks for toffee but he's really impressive. The one that fancies himself is a different person though. South African. Your team could use the continental influence.

The fifth one isn't great though, he's built like a ram does the odd bit of defensive brilliance, but his ball skills and understanding of the game are poor. Yeah, but he's not black, although we have tried to convince him that a blonde mohawk would be a good look. If he's anything, he's almost Mauri looking. So I could get: -A Central Defender (who can play midfield) -A Right Back (who can play midfield) -x2 Wingers.
