Thracian Posted 6 November 2008 Posted 6 November 2008 Based on what? They hardly ever play these days. I'd sooner they were getting some regular football suited to their standard. And, in both cases, getting some additional experience from our bench. Why McKay has never had a first team taster I'll never know. I've all the hopes in the world for Chambers if he ever has a run of games without injury but given a choice of McKay or Chambers right now I'd go for McKay every time. Chambers is clearly preferred for his once blistering pace but McKay is every bit as good a marksman and excellent at making runs, closing people down and bringing others into play when we're in possession. The caps are an honour. Of course they are. But I doubt that either have played enough football this season to do themselves justice and it's regular football they need, not occasional international jaunts. Good luck o them both whatever. They are two or our better prospects.
