Stuliasz Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 Scunny United 1-2 Leicester City 22 November 2008 Yet another man of the match award was sealed by Aleksandar Tunchev this week after an impressive defensive performance helped City return to the top of the table, leapfrogging S****horpe United to the top spot. Tunchev narrowly beat goalscorer Lloyd Dyer and Swiss international Bruno Berner to the award, with the two midfielders being deadlocked in second place. At the lower end of the scale, long term absentee DJ Campbell returned to the team only to be greeted with the Flop of the Match award from the fans. Full backs Joe Mattock and Marc Edworthy were the only other two in contention for the award. davieG Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 It has to be said well done Tunch and Sheff Fox
Stuliasz Posted 24 November 2008 Author Posted 24 November 2008 I've even impressed myself with the headline
Koke Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 The Tunch is a beast. This must be his 5th Man of the Match this season.
Cobbo Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 Flop of the match had a big part in both goals too. He really must have been rubbish other than those two moments!
Koke Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 Flop of the match had a big part in both goals too.He really must have been rubbish other than those two moments! I wasn't at Scunny, but DJ's lack of awareness and inability to stay onside will always haunt him.
Hullfox Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 I wasn't at Scunny, but DJ's lack of awareness and inability to stay onside will always haunt him. NP picked up on his offsides, I guarantee he'll not be that bad again. As for his lack of awareness, if it leads to away wins on a regular basis I'm all for it.

Hullfox Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 Nice to know. But how does he change? he's always offside Lets see how it goes, I will apologise if I'm wrong
Lillehamring Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 good to see that bruno has lost the fickle fans censure
Simi Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 good to see that bruno has lost the fickle fans censure Why does it have to be anything to do with fickle fans? He hadn't been playing well, but then he put in a decent shift?
lildave3 Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 Why does it have to be anything to do with fickle fans?He hadn't been playing well, but then he put in a decent shift? I don't think he's been playing badly...
Simi Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 I don't think he's been playing badly... I thought his substitue appearances were mostly ineffective and pointless, mainly down the left hand side.
lildave3 Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 I thought his substitue appearances were mostly ineffective and pointless, mainly down the left hand side. Ttat's mainly because he's been thrown on with 5 minutes to go to begin with, but I don't think he's let anybody down since being here.
clazkel Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 Flop of the match had a big part in both goals too.He really must have been rubbish other than those two moments! I actually thought Dj had a good game, yes he was offside far too many times but he worked hard, closed down, challenged and won the ball quite afew times. Scunny pushed up on us, i don't think other teams will push up soo much and i think what Dj brought to the team was alot more positive than Howard, and we looked more of a threat up front, attacking with pace and movement. I really don't think he was the flop of the match
