Fryatt's goals put City through to the third round of the cup in what was a very mediocre performance from City with the ratings highlighting decent performances also from Fryatt's strike partner Steve Howard and goalkeeper David Martin. Nicky Adams got a rare start on the right hand side and failed to impress the City fans with a very ordinary performance that barely kept him over the 5 mark and gained him the flop of the match award. The central midfield pairing of Andy King and Bruno Berner rounded off the bottom three. He opened play up by running with the ball and he put some decent crosses in the box wish we normally struggle to do. I really don't think he was the worst player.

He opened play up by running with the ball and he put some decent crosses in the box wish we normally struggle to do. I really don't think he was the worst player. He also overhit a few crosses and messed up a few setpieces. If anything, his marks are a little generous.
