personally I thought that was an excellent performance, and Im still baffled as to how we didnt get the three points. Their goal came from nowhere, we defended and attacked well all game. What else can you put it down to other than bad luck? I guess you can say we were a little wasteful with a couple of our chances, namely two I think from Hughes, but apart from that.. we did nothing really wrong..

I really wish wed sort out our discipline though... once again we picked up a nice stash of yellow cards..

well we sounded to give the ball away a needless amount of times. Nalis didn't seem to do anything all game, and Williams didn't sound as if he created much either. Hughes at least got into the box and seemed eager, but he couldn't score today. Dublin and Connolly definitely sound like our best front pairing though. It was comforting to hear how many aerial challenges Dublin won, and how pumped up Connolly was today.

We can;t exactly tell if it was a good or bad performance! None of us watched the 90 minutes of football!:rolleyes::mad:

micky adams is back in town

*11 men defnding set plays

*substitutions left until the LAST 5 minutes when its quite obvious something needs changing

*excuses given to everything but the players

god, and i was PROUD when levein signed for us

say what you want, make as many excuses about refs etc as you want. Tactically a couple of aneaba's could sort us out

players played out of position, stefan moore AGAIN being paid thousands to sit on the bench.... why? send him home and save the wage bill ffs

at times we did play well, but like some man said on century before the game about forest:

one of my old managers would say after a game, the newspapers don't say your unlucky, they say you lost!

that's spot on, i'm sorry but i don't see amount of chances as a column on the league table

Agreed. Every player on the pitch put in a pretty good performance. We deserved a win tonight and were unlucky to be caught out by a damn good free kick.

We hit the post a number of times, made their keeper put in some excellent saves, Dabizas did not deserve the second yellow and again Connolly gets ruled offside for intercepting a poor backpass from one of their defenders, stupid linesman.

Consistency is one of the things we lacked tonight. We had good spells where the passing and the movement was fantastic, but were equally poor at other times where the passing was negligent and the movement non-existent.

All in all, even though we only gained a point, I came home from the game feeling encouraged.

EDIT: In regard to the substitutions, I could see what CL was trying to do, but I didn't think they were necessary. With exception to Stearman coming on for Kenton, which should have been done sooner, I think we should have stuck with the 10 men that were on the field.

Well said Benji...again

That was another bitterly diappointing performance, again. To say we played excellently would be dillusional. In patches we did ok, but it was a typical Leicester performance under Levein. Decent at times, but give away poor goals and unable to come back from it.

Players playing out of position is the thing that annoys me the most. Maybury has looked a shadow of his former self when playing LB, and was pretty dire again today. It is blatently obvious that he cannot play LB, yet Levein persists in this. Hughes would be so much better in centre midfield, he actually wants the ball and uses it well, and has got some neat touches and good skill. I feel Hughes is wasted on wide right or wide left, he doesn't give us natural balance and isn't pacey enough to cause defenders many problems.

I thought Levein again left it too late before he brought on the subs - De Vries comes on in the 89th minute- why??

Gillespie should've been on earlier with Williams coming off and Hughes reverting to CM.

Tiatto roams around like he owns the pitch - running wherever he likes and doing whatever he fancies. Levein should tell him to stick LEFT midfield, and support Maybury!!

Levein is dumb when it comes to substitutions. I feel sorry for Moore. He went down the tunnel i think in anger.

Tiatto is dumb too, he don't have a footballing brain.

It's also beyond a joke why Stefan Moore was brought to the club. If the club wanted to waste thousands of pounds ever week they should be giving it to the fans, not to Moore!

Surely Levein or somebody must have seen enough of Moore and done a bit of research into his training/attitude before signing him on loan?? What a shambles this situation is. We may as well send him back now and save a bit of money!

Totally agree about Hughes, we need him in middle of the pitch, not on the wings.

Yes, Nalis did have a good game tonight.

As I said, I can only go by what I heard on the radio, and Nalis was hardly mentioned all game. He had a pop early on but other than that it sounded as if the ball got hoofed up to Dublin most of the time or Williams receiving the ball and playing it out to the flanks... That's the impression I got anyway

From what I saw Nalis was one of the few players who could actually pass the ball. In a passing formation, well done Levein

IO cant believe what I am reading

Nalis was good, lots of creative passing,

Tiato gave his all and yes he make the odd mistake, but thats because he chases and gets difficult balls, which is better than not

Connelly was good and as someone suggested, his best possition would be to play behind the strikers.

Dublin did well.

Hughes worked his socks of in the first half, had an excelent match and faded away in the last 20 min.

Kenton and paddy where sound, though both looked nervious.

Dabisas was a donkey, to slow, gave away to many freekicks and though he got the ball so did not commit that foul. It was only a matter of time before he did get a second yellow. Hope Cl gets rid

Why, Why Why does walker frig about so much at free kicks, he is never ready and often gets caught out. Their free kick was a slow gentle kick that he should have saved. he just stood rooted to the spot. he was not ready.
