Lovejoy Posted 18 December 2008 Posted 18 December 2008 Err, surely the biggest question if Hatton were to fight Mayweather Jr again is would Floyd Sr coach the hitman against his son? Boom
Matt Posted 18 December 2008 Author Posted 18 December 2008 Err, surely the biggest question if Hatton were to fight Mayweather Jr again is would Floyd Sr coach the hitman against his son?Boom I know it would be hard to see your son take a beating to a bloke your training, but i'm sure I read/heard Mayweather Snr had a massive fall out/feud with Mayweather Jnr and haven't spoke. I'm not 100% sure about that and as I said it would be hard to see your son take a beating due to your training but...

Daz.I Posted 18 December 2008 Posted 18 December 2008 err he's a boxer he earns his living by getting whacked in the head until he is either knocked out or he knocks his opponent out what could be more silly than that!!!being a boxer is silly doesn't matter who you go in the ring with. it is entertaining at times though That is argubly the worst statement ever, you make it out to be just a street fight with gloves on when it isn't also being a boxer isn't silly its the most physically challenging sport which takes a lot of raw grit and determination to be the best, I don't think you can make ludacris comments like that till you've been in the ring yourself or trained to anyway! It's not about not liking them, Floyd is without a doubt the best boxer in the world in the last few years, he would destroy Hatton, he has beat him once, why would we wanna see that again ? It'd be a much better fight against Pacquaio and much more of a contest. jack man have you not learnt anything I mean come on!? floyd has been the best agreed he wouldn't destroy hatton he'd beat him again but maybe go further under his new coach and having already had the no how with being in the ring with some-one as brilliant as floyd! as for why we'd wanna see it again cause it would be a clash of styles a rematch been long anticipated to mess up the P4P ratings again.. to be honest with you I'd rather Pacman fight hatton show him a boxing lesson ricky retire then for mayweather to start chopsin off and then him sign with Pacman and him do exactly the same to mayweather to unify his reign at P4P No1 then I could get mega pumped and take my top off and tense.. Viva la pacquiaou he's the best boxer around!

It make take a lot or grit and determination but any career that can leave you physically and mentally destroyed http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,170201,00.html this story from fox news states that since 1994 in Las Vegas alone 6 boxers have died as a result of brain injuries sustained within the ring. in the uk you have the likes of Paul Ingle, Spencer Oliver and the most famous Michael Watson all of whom suffered life threatening injuries. As a result of a career in boxing many boxers suffer from severe damage to the nose, ears and eyes they can also suffer from various forms of brain damage that doesn't develop for many years. how many ex pro boxers suffer from slurred speach which is also a sign of brain damage I don't need to get into a ring to learn to have an opinion on this, I am not questioning the physical nature of the sport I know they work hard and put a lot of training in that is not in question. What I am saying is that to put yourself in a situation where you suffer constant an intense physical trauma that can potentially have very serious immediate and long term health problems for the amusement of others is totally crazy as far as I am concerned.
Tilley Posted 18 December 2008 Posted 18 December 2008 Hatton would be silly to get in the ring with Floyd again.Silly. Listen to him.
