GLC Posted 23 December 2008 Posted 23 December 2008 hw was under contract, so they didnt have to accept his resignation, but he still joined leeds, so the can take leagl action
Sparky Posted 23 December 2008 Posted 23 December 2008 Grayson obviously read this thread. SSN are reporting this is the case
Lillehamring Posted 23 December 2008 Posted 23 December 2008 well, i can't imagine he will be allowed to have any interaction with leeds, if he is still technically the blackpool manager...anyone? it'll no doubt have an influence on the players tho, hopefully we will be even more fired up by this, hopefully this will keep us sharp and give us a new focus for the game... of course, it could be like most boxing day games and we suck big wind
wirralsimon Posted 23 December 2008 Posted 23 December 2008 They can't hang on to him in the sense that any trust between him and the Blackpool Board will be irretrievably broken, so they could try and stop him managing anywhere else until his contract ran out but that will just be money down the drain on his salary and won't achieve anything, so all can really do is hold out for a decent compensation package. Simon
lookwhaticando Posted 23 December 2008 Posted 23 December 2008 Sounds a bit iffy doesn't it? How can he join another club without being released from his duties by his current club? They either have to terminate his contract willingly (which they might consider if they were retards) or release him in exchange for payment (the more standard route). And even if a compensation package is offered, he surely can't leave until the package has been agreed to and the contract formally ripped up. Most bizarre. Loving the good work on 606 right now... a Leeds fan says "Grayson can not handle this club."
Matt Posted 24 December 2008 Author Posted 24 December 2008 Bollocks. Hope Blackpool sue Leeds for every penny they have (Which isn't much). Grayson, you disappoint me, apparently "walk over glass" to want to join us, don't, then join Leeds for all of everyone. (Although i'm more than happy with Pearson!)
Mickey O'Neil Posted 24 December 2008 Posted 24 December 2008 Reading that link just reaffirms just how much of a cock Ken Bates really is. Bet he offered them a quid.
