Matt Posted 29 December 2008 Posted 29 December 2008 Bloody old woman? Anyone hear her? Fair enough she was 82, but she moaning about people standing, people having banter with the Leeds fans calling them "i'm not going to say it on radio....I am Dirty Northern Bastard" and calling the Leeds fans scum and whatnot. "I felt ashamed to be a Leicester fan", "We went to the Leeds game for a family day out" - I'm sorry love but you don't go to Leeds for a 'family' day out, not with their fans about. As I said fair enough she's 82, you can't really expect her to stand up all game, but make sure you get tickets down the front, move down the front, look at getting a disabled pass (Somehow), or don't go. Other subjects have included - Roy Cropper. Always good for a laugh.
Matt Posted 29 December 2008 Author Posted 29 December 2008 Get Paddy Kenny in? I think we'd struggle to get him in tbh, He's still firmly got Sheff Utd No.1 spot hasn't he?
Bryn Posted 29 December 2008 Posted 29 December 2008 Spurs have signed him supposedly. fook knows why but there you are. So says someone I know who supports em anyway, not seen anything in writing.

Yeah i heard her, and you don't go to Leeds for a family day out! Your right that she should try and get tickets at the front, it was annoying, but i understand that shes 82 so can't really stand up for long and to be fair to her she has a season ticket at home, but she shouldn't go Leeds for a family day out. I think most of the fans were singing 'we all hate leeds scum', its just what you do when your playing Leeds, and you would think she would realise that
Brainy Posted 29 December 2008 Posted 29 December 2008 Paddy Kenny is out of contract at the end of the season, and has had a bust up with Boss Kevin Blackwell. Allegedly.

All these people make the Walkers the way it is 90% of the time - Atmospherless (If there is such a word)

I know that sometimes some of the fans only go to wind up the other fans and aren't really bothered with the game, but the majority of fans get behind the team and wind up the other fans aswel. The atmosphere at the Walkers is alot better this season, but the atmosphere is still poor, even in L1 at times, thats why i prefer away games. At Leeds i thought their fans were poor but our fans aren't much better at home tbh
Simi Posted 31 December 2008 Posted 31 December 2008 The idea of seperate standing sections at grounds is just ridiculous isn't it.
Dan Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 The idea of seperate standing sections at grounds is just ridiculous isn't it. Well to be fair I wouldn't mind if they did certain sections for away fans, like etc. one area of the away end the standing up fans with lots of singing, and the other half sitting to watch the game. The ticket office should try this.
barmy76uk Posted 1 January 2009 Posted 1 January 2009 ffs its a big part of the game and atmosphere to swear and abuse the opposition fans for 90 mins, its all good fun!
